Artistic Endeavors
I've begun my path to being a better journalist. I have my equipment and my little bag for holding it all. I find the process very exciting but as always I'm a better starter than finisher. I don't like transcription at all, but my second interview is already scheduled so I better start making something to show for the time and effort already invested.
The website revisions continue. The poetry section is complete except for "Kissing the Hobby Horse". I don't want to cross-publish it here when it's still in the current issue of Tenderfoot. Besides it's taught me an important lesson as a writer. I sent my only copy to them and until I get some more copies of the zine, I don't know the full text. Lesson learned- retain at least one copy for personal records. Oops.
I've updated the links on "Trap Doors". Some of the dead ends have been repaired, others have been deleted. I've also added a couple of new passions to the list. On a side note that page has what may be my greatest accomplishment as a photographer at the bottom. I worked on that shot and it paid off in my opinion. As long as I'm mentioning photos, the About page has a new portrait taken earlier this month. Nothing like some sleepless bloodshot to bring out the blue in a girl's eyes. That's about it for now. Let me know if you see anything you like, or don't like for that matter.
I'm still making progress on the novel. So far I've completed four chapters, just six more left to write. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...
