Who Am I?

My Dubious Qualifications

I've been a Valley Girl and an L.A. Woman and while my zip code may have changed I am still a loyal resident of my native state. Despite thirteen years enrolled in the Los Angeles Unified School District, diplomas have eluded me. Additionally I have had the honor of dropping out of Butte Community College, Pierce Community College, College of Marin and Citrus College. I had a penchant for getting A's and F's but seldom C's. My truancy was a recognized problem not only by the schools I neglected to attend but by the school district itself. All that said, despite my troubled relationship with schools I consider learning to be a passionate and lifelong pursuit.

What I am

I am the mother of two young children, and the mama of my store Mama's Favorites. I am also the owner of three hermit crabs, two cats, two dogs, and one high desert homestead. I am a dedicated eco-hippy and I generally endeavor to remain a hippening happening chicky mama despite the pressures to just grow up already. I am a participant at the local renaissance faire, science fiction conventions and an annual homeschooling conference. I am an amateur bellydancer, writer, photographer and doodler. And if all that isn't enough to keep me from having to face my chores I'm quite happy to be outdoors; hiking, camping or just stopping to smell the flowers.
